New trails and paths will connect the area to existing park trails and the neighboring 36-acre Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park. Paired with Ponderosa’s Ridge’s 33 acres of verdant open space, you’ll enjoy natural meadow areas, upland prairie, wildflower displays throughout spring and summer, and riparian habitats, as well as have close access to the park’s landscaped softball fields, horseshoe pits, a volleyball/badminton turf area and designated “dogs off-leash” space.

Construction update

NW Ponderosa Ave. remains closed to through traffic while we complete improvements, including wider vehicle lanes, bike paths, curbs, gutters and increased connectivity to streets just west of NW Cassia Ct. Primary access to the Skyline West Development is through NW Fair Oaks Dr., which was extended to NW Walnut Blvd. last year.

Please use caution and drive slowly throughout the neighborhood for everyone’s safety as this is an active construction zone.
